About

I am passionate about walking the path of healing with individuals who need someone to embark on the path to wholeness and well -being. One of my favorite quotes is “True healing is the willingness to treat yourself and others better than the past ever did.” (Matt Kahn ) We are all products of our life experiences. I believe that each of us possesses an inner strength that at times is difficult to access.  Engaging in therapy is a way to discover our inner strengths, gifts, and access resiliency that we may not realize we possess. I believe that when individuals, couples, and families feel seen, valued, and heard they can tap into a greater sense of empowerment and find fulfillment, meaning, and joy in life and relationships.

Are you exhausted managing things as they are? Does it feel as if you will never be yourself again? You may be trying to reach out for support, but it feels like no one can understand what you are going through. All you want is to feel like someone cares and is there for you and your family at this time. It may be that your thoughts have become so negative that you are overwhelmed and feel like nothing will ever change. Even your closest relationships are suffering with your feelings of anxiety and worry.

Counseling is about accessing strengths we each already possess.  At times thoughts, hurt, and emotions limit our view of what life can be. Through various modalities including experiential, emotionally focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, self- compassion, mindfulness, and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) we will tackle the thoughts, communication concerns, and relationship breaks that are causing you distress.

Part of the human experience includes facing struggles, and challenges. I know firsthand the growth that can occur as you work on creating a safe and secure environment for yourself and loved ones. I am devoted to helping others maneuver life’s challenges. It is said, “a journey of a thousand miles, begins with one step”, Buddha.

Take that step today and reach out for a free phone consultation.
